Estee Lauder Disappear Smoothing Creme Concealer

Last May, I met my new HG under eye concealer by accident. I was red and flaking all over, sleepless from a night shift, and I was beating red lights to make it to a 12nn event. When I was bound to freshen up and retouch, hell caught me when I realized that I left my under eye concealer. *panic* I was at the Mall of Asia that time and my options are very limited. I went to the department store and some stand alone shops and I was near hopeless. I thought my best option’s MAC but then again I have a fresh pot at home and sayang naman if I buy the exact same thing right? Good thing Estee Lauder’s just literally a step away from MAC and my concealer fairy godmother (Tes Young, Estee Lauder beauty advisor) rescued me.

Disguises dark circles, lines and shadows. Soothes away puffiness. Moisturizes and protects.

Assessing my under eye’s skin condition, we’ve got no choice but to work a little harder. She taught me this signature technique they have that’s best for brides who naturally become sleepless and victims of hormonal imbalance as their big day comes close. Instead of the usual under eye moisturizer (I absolutely love Estee Lauder’s Re-Nutriv Ultimate Line Lift Age-Correcting Eye Cream! It’s the best lifting eye cream I’ve ever tried!) then concealer move, after moisturizing my eye area, Tes mixed the award winning Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex serum with the Disappear Smoothing Creme Concealer in LIGHT. Patting the mixture on my eye area worked like magic. The flakiness, puffiness, and dark shadow just went outta the window in minutes (we waited for about 20-30 seconds for the products to sink into my skin before finishing with a powder)! I was so ecstatic and giddy I didn’t get to ask her how much a tube is before asking for one. LOL
Here’s a tight eye area snap after applying the wonder concealer. Good to know — I’ve been sleepless!

Pushing the cards a little harder, here’s a photo of me with my friends at Republiq. Have you found a concealer that’s able to stand the harsh auto flash and lomo film/toy camera setting? Guess I’m lucky to have my hands on one! :)

While I’m obviously in love with this concealer, I can still think of one gripe. There are only 2 shades available here in the Philippines: LIGHT (yellow tone) and MEDIUM (pink tone). I’d love to get my hands on the BARELY MAUVE shade which I bet would work wonders as a corrector on really dark eye bag days!
