Gone Short But Not Too Sweet at Lourd's High Chair Bottega de Barberia

It's been a while since I sat down on Lourd Ramos' chair. I last saw him for a refreshing colour and cut perfect for my non-stop travels that commenced last May 4. That job grew out so beautiful (here's how it looked like fresh from the salon) that I couldn't bring myself to just any salon while I was in the US.

No cut nor colour touch-up for 3 months!

When he told me that he opened a new joint, I just had to go. Timing couldn't be more perfect since 1) I'll be in Makati hours before my appointment with him and 2) I need a new look in preparation for the holidays.

His new nook aka. Lourd's High Chair Bottega de Barberia is surprise -- a barbershop! A very industrial-chic barbershop.

Upon being directed to my chair (there are 6), I immediately asked for an espresso since it's just past brunch. I would've had a rum coke (he always has this on hand for all of his clients) if I wasn't working later that afternoon.

Lourd finally asks the most important question of the day: what are we doing to my tresses. I asked for the current trends and from there, he directed Nikko Bruel (he's off on Wednesdays) to change my colour using Davines 5.66 + 4.0 (with 6% peroxide).

Happy Halloween! :)

After colouring, I had the Davines Alchemic Conditioner Red Treatment to enhance and protect my new 'do. Ten to fifteen minutes later, Lourd cut my hair twice before letting me off the hook. This ladies and gents is the prequel to my holiday tresses:

My left hand is poised that way because my earring was about to fall off. LOL This is how the back looks like:

Surprise -- it's so bright and vibrant outdoors and under the sun. Perfect for someone needing a school or office safe hair colour and cut. :)
