LUSH 2016 Winter Gift Collection

November 20, 2016

To say that LUSH is all set for the holidays is a supreme understatement. From my store visit last Thursday, one can tell that they're excited and more than ready for your lengthy shopping lists with so many new offerings in tow. They have 51 gift sets for every budget (some sets from the 2014 holidays are still available and yes, I'd still love to get a WOW! Gift Set) and 60 holiday exclusive products to give or treat ourselves with.

If you prefer building your own gift set, you can always start with the classic bars-by-the-weight and skin care.

Speaking of skin care -- check out their super snazzy, kitchen-like counter! This one's from their newly renovated Bonifacio High Street concept store.

Colourful tubs give me a reason to live another day (exag but true!) and their bath bombs, bath melts, and reusable bubble bars are some of my absolute musts from the brand. They're not best sellers for nothing!

The Magic Wand in action's just too pretty for words!

Don't forget to make a pit stop at the lip care bar! Their lip products smell really good and are all very promising. :)

While you're at it, do check out the Lush Charity Pot (45g at Php 295.00, 95g at Php 485.00 and 240g at Php 925.00). It's one of my new body care discoveries and I'm so excited to share how this does more good than just taking care of your skin. Proceeds from its sale (less taxes) supports various "small grassroots campaigns working for the benefit of people welfare, environmental protection and animal rights". Locally, it's already tied up with Piglas Pilipinas in Batangas City in their endeavor to take a stand against the use of fossil fuel and CARA Welfare (very close to my heart!) to care for rescued dogs.
The Lush Philippines team joined the march, together with 10,000 anti-coal activists to stop further advancement of the Batangas coal plant, as well as other power plant constructions all over the country. The Lush CHARITY POT sale proceeds of PHP 600,000 accumulated from Lush Hong Kong, Lush Japan and Lush Philippines was used for mobilization and transportation arrangements by Piglas Pilipinas.

And most recently, the brand showed support to CARA Welfare’s project involving the rehabilitation of rescued dogs at the Laguna pitbull sanctuary by visiting the site, where the Lush Philippines team experienced the gentle demeanor of pitbulls. Often perceived as tough and vicious, the dogs showed the exact opposite being sweet and playful, while the team fed, bathed and played with them. Through the campaign, Lush Philippines was able to donate monetary help amounting to PHP 84,187.88 for medication and immediate needs of the animals.
Lush is located at Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Estancia Mall, Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3, Robinsons Magnolia, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, SM Mall of Asia and Trinoma. Visit facebook.com/lushphilippines or follow @lushcosmeticsph and @ssilifeph on Instagram for more information.
